About Me
I'm Jade, a visual artist, socially engaged practitioner, creative producer, and arts professional based in Glasgow, Scotland. My work is grounded in a passion for creativity and collaboration, bridging my artistic practice with strategic roles in the creative industries.
With a background in visual arts, marketing and communications, fundraising, and creative programming / project management, I have partnered with a diverse range of cultural organisations, helping to bring their ideas to life. I thrive on making things happen, whether that’s through artistic expression, delivering meaningful projects, or practically supporting others in achieving their creative goals.
Whether creating my own visual art or collaborating with organisations and people, I’m passionate about making creativity accessible, meaningful and a force for positive change. You can discover more about my work on my Visual Art and Social Practice pages.
Working in the arts and cultural sector over the past eight years has provided me a broad range of expertise, and I have supported organisations and individuals to grow, develop, and thrive. I am happy to offer my skills on a freelance or one-off basis—please get in touch if you'd like to collaborate.

Things I've Done & Can Do
Fundraising & Strategic Development
I have raised significant funding for organisations, including over £68,000 for Eco Drama (2024–25) with partners like National Lottery Awards for All, the Ironmonger’s Trust and Glasgow City Council, plus a one-year £80,000 grant extension. For Glasgow Connected Arts Network, I secured over £40,000 from funders including People’s Postcode Trust and the Rayne Foundation. During GCAN’s rebranding to Creative Glasgow, I developed a new business and multi-year funding plan, securing Open Funding from Creative Scotland. I have also forged partnerships with organisations such as Hawkins\Brown, Glasgow University, Aberdeen City Council and Bold Studio, while offering bespoke funding support.
Design, Marketing & Communications
I have extensive experience in designing and delivering marketing strategies for arts organisations, including GCAN (now Creative Glasgow), Eco Drama, and The Charles Rennie Mackintosh Society. My work has involved creating and managing visual content (via Canva), website updates (WordPress & Squarespace), Mailchimp newsletters, social media, press releases, and other targeted communications to enhance engagement and visibility. I’ve also developed branding consultations and provided strategic marketing support for organisations like Boogie Box and The Village Storytelling Festival (2022). Additionally, I’ve created a range of digital and promotional assets, such as trailers, annual reports, and event materials.
Creative Programming & Project Management
I have designed, delivered and evaluated programmes, including membership and support initiatives for over 600 participatory artists and organisations, featuring networking, mentoring, funding and training. I managed the ‘Glasgow Creates’ small grants programme, overseeing applications, recipient support and funder reporting. With the Charles Rennie Mackintosh Society, I recruited and trained 140+ volunteers for #Mackintosh150 events, led volunteer tours and managed relationships with 1,000 global members. I have also managed programmes supported by funders including Impact Funding Partners, Heritage Lottery Fund and Glasgow City Council. I have also successfully led workshops and training for organisations including The Bold Collective, Sleeping Giants and Articulate Cultural Trust.
